The main difference between qigong and Anma massage is that Anma is more hands-on. You will use a practitioner to help guide your body through different slow motions which will allow to your body to have the energy it needs because you will be able to establish the right place for your qi. Because the right method will be conducted on a near daily basis, this form of massage will also help you to increase your stamina and your metabolism. This is why so many have been turning to eastern massage even while the western medical community has taken a strong stance against the properties that such methods can provide you. It is hard for some people to accept the idea that anything other than physical manipulation can control your body.
