What is the difference between an Eastern and Western massage curriculum?

In an Eastern Massage program the focus of the studies could include meridians and organ physiology, conception and governing vessels and the five elements. In the Western Massage approach the courses usually include human anatomy, physiology, pathology and kinesiology involving the major systems of the body along with biomechanics.
